About me
My name is Spencer Arnett, and I am AARC’s 623rd graduate. My life was completely consumed by drugs and alcohol at the age of 16 and every aspect of life was chaotic and unmanageable. After my parents signed me into treatment at AARC, I had lost all hope for myself, and I was scared and confused. I was able to find strength and hope within the walls of AARC and was able to stay sober for over a year. When I turned 18 years old, I relapsed and ruined my life yet again. This time using ended up being the worst I have ever felt in my life, and I was utterly desperate for help. I went to AARC yet again to get sober and the program was able give me the life I always wanted for myself. Since then, I have been sober for about 4 and a half years, I am currently at Mount Royal University and am studying finance. I have also had the pleasure to work as a Peer Counsellor at AARC for a couple of years and today, my life is full of faith and gratitude in a life I could have never imagined for myself.
